- Assessment of pupils for neurological and psychiatric conditions or disabilities
- Advice to parents and carers regarding therapeutic measures
- Advice to teaching staff on how to appropriately address the specific needs of affected children (most common issues: epilepsy, behavioural difficulties), training in emergency procedures
