As part of our Erasmus+ project “Skills for Inclusive Working,” the participating schools aim to jointly develop curricula to prepare students for specific professions. The goal of this cooperation is to create new training opportunities for young people who are blind or visually impaired in four areas: audio engineering, garden design, Thonet cane weaving, and the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL).

The strengths of the Centre for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Kraków lie in audio engineering and garden design, while the strengths of BBI are Thonet cane weaving and the ECDL. Through intensive exchange of experience and collaboration in these fields, the schools will undoubtedly benefit.

The project was approved for a duration of two years and concluded on March 31, 2024. Curricula were developed for all four training areas, providing a foundation for their implementation in teaching. Each of these areas is presented in separate summary reports within the overall project report.
